Thank you for taking the time to report bugs and trying to make Ubuntu Server better.
Unfortunately this doesn't seem like a bug with winbind itself but some other component, such as an error with the installation sources themselves. This means that the sources downloaded are not correct.
This may have been caused for out of date sources, or something when wrong when downloading the package.
Before installation, was a message saying that not trusted sources were to be installed?
Please, do the following:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -f install --> to install packages that were not installed
If this doesn't solve the problem, please try to remove and reinstall the affected package, and let us know.
