address bar dropdown box does not redirect when selected

Bug Description

When I select a link from the address bar dropdown box I have to hit enter/go for the page to load. I have the same problem with two different installations on two different computers. If this is a customization issue I have not been able to find the fix.

I can't reproduce this in Edgy with Firefox 2.0.0.1.

More info is needed to try and recreate this problem. Mainly, What version of Ubuntu are you using? Has this problem been around right away from the clean install or something that developed over time? Anything more you think might be pertinent would really help us to better help with your bug report.
