Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

After running the multimedia keys (banshee) portion of http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Hardware/Keyboard/Hotkeys I closed banshee without pressing stop first. The song kept on playing and when it was finished there was silence again for a short time. A few seconds later the music playback continued several seconds (more than 10) into the next track on the playlist, at that point I stopped it manually. When trying to recreate the program (banshee) stopped respondig when I tried to close the window and I had to do a "force quit"

The part where Banshee does not stop playing when you close Banshee's window is
intended -- see the SoundMenu specification[1].

However, the part where Banshee hangs when you try to reopen it is not. Could
you try running "banshee --debug" in a terminal, and running "killall -SIGQUIT
banshee" in another terminal when it hangs? Then take the output from the
"banshee --debug" terminal and upload it to this bug report.

It did not hang on re-open but when I tried to close it. But it did
lag at all times in both sessions. Will runn the banshee-debug
process and send results.
