Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

It doesn't look exactly like the other ones - could be already fixed...
the crash is at the very beginning of step 6.
I'm using the build 20070111 of Kubuntu

Could you please attach /var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman to this bug, following the directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 76976, since fixed; run 'sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install ubiquity' in a terminal window before starting the installation to pick up the fix.
