Bug Description
When running the test suite in remote mode, tests that attempt to build and execute shared libraries fail. While there exists some infrastructure in the test suite harness that is supposed to make this work:
- In some places, host filenames are used on the target -- this will cause execution to fail (unless host and target use the same filesystem)
- Some tests do not (or incorrectly) use the shared library test framework
