Bug Description

I got the latest rawhide package from Fedora, which is:

redhat-artwork-5.0.8-3.fc7.i386.rpm

and then, converted it using alien, generating this file:

redhat-artwork_5.0.8-4_i386.deb

The installation went well, but when i try to choose this theme as the current one, gnome-theme-manager crashed.

Thanks for taking your time reporting this bug. However, this package is not supported at all. And even worse, it tries to overwrite some system resources.

I suggest you to install the theme by your user (and not as an alien package). Copying files to ~/.themes, ~/.icons worked for me (Feisty, x86).

Conflicts with which files? IIRC, whenever i install a package that conflicts with something, dpkg shows it, and is necessary execute the dpkg -i command with --force-overwrite, which is not this specific case.

Could you run "dpkg -S /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines/libbluecurve.so"? The backtrace show it's trying to open that file which is not shipping on a standard Ubuntu installation, if you are trying to use a binary from an another distribution or lacking that file that's not an Ubuntu bug
