[feisty herd3] widescreen not supported by default

Bug Description

Installing herd3 on a Dell 700m results in 1024x768 as maximum resolution, both on liveCD and once installed.

xorg.conf contains:
Section "Device"
        Identifier "Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device"
        Driver "i810"
        BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
EndSection

and ..
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 16
                Modes "1280x800"
        EndSubSection

So it's getting the basics right, but 1280x800 is not available via Control Center.

And installing 915resolution from universe fixes it (as expected).
