The spec easy-codec-installation should also get implented to Rhythmbox.

Thank you for your interest. No need to open a bug about items from a specification, the specification already describes the work to do and we don't need extra reminders about it. That's also a duplicate from bug #37671

The reason for opening the bug was not to remind you, instead I didn't knew that it was part of the spec.. I am sorry for bugging you :-)

No problem. For information the spec are public and documented, you can read them on the wiki. That one is on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EasyCodecInstallation. The spec "Scope" mentions "The gstreamer0.10 packages, rhythmbox, totem on the Ubuntu desktop"
