Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

There should be some way to set up network manager so that it does not require a keyring password. I think that If someone logs in on my laptop they should not be prompted again to get to a wireless network. No other OS does this. If this is this way why not make firefox get a key to access its stored passwords.

This is because n-m uses gnome-keyring.

So there are two options IMO:
a) n-m no longer uses g-k
b) g-k has the option to no encrypt the passwords it stores.

I also would like not to necessarily enter a password just after login into my session. If I've logged in, it's because I'm able to enter to my network, so there is no need to ask me again for the password.

Best regards
