Bug Description

Original title: Impossible to select α1 Cen, Rigil Kent (HIP 71683 A) at FOV greater than 130 degrees

When having a full sky view at 180 degrees, α1 Cen, Rigil Kent (HIP 71683 A) could not be selected. It seems that the star can be selected only at FOV less than 120 degrees.

Added by Bogdan Marinov:
As Khalid noticed later, this happens only when the Supernovae plug-in is enabled and affects all stars that are close to a supernova. It seems that supernovae take precedence on selection even when they are not visible.

I don't have any problems selecting it even when zooming out to 360 degrees in Hammer-Aitoff projection. Could you please provide some more information about the circumstances? What happens exactly when you click on it?

When I click on it, I get SN 185A which is in the vicinity of α1 Cen.

But now I disabled the Historical SuperNovae plugin, and I can select it.

I think this happens to every star in the proximity of a supernova!

I can try to fix this, if Alex is unable because of his broken computer.

The problem was that the selection priority of Supernova object had been set to a constant value - (-10). For other stars, the value is the current visual magnitude. So supernovae were treated as -10 magnitude stars even when they were not visible. :)
