Bug Description

Quite frequently after switching viewports with the keyboard, clicking on a window doesn't seemt to focus it properly. Although I can interact with the window in the usual way, it retains the appearance of an unfocused window (eg, the cursor in gnome-terminal remains as the steady, empty rectangle rather than the blinking, solid rectangle. Or selected files in Nautilus don't have the normal highlight colour for a focused window). This didn't seem to happen in Natty, but happens quite randomly in Oneiric.

Focusing another window and then focusing back again seems to correct it.

This bug gets worst on ubuntu 11.10. Now, windows NEVER gets the focus after de viewport switch (or after rotate cube).

I confirm that. Compiz with Gnome classic fallback on 11.10. It is very diffucult to work with a system where after each viewport change you have to grab the mouse or press alt+tab. What is actually the status of this bug now?

regards

That version has reached EOL since a while, so it will not receive update. If that issue still exist, report again using ubuntu-bug.
