software-center trunk r2404, Ubuntu 11.10 beta
Ubuntu Software Center 5.2.1, Ubuntu 12.04
1. Choose "View" > "Canonical-
2. Navigate to "Developer Tools".
What you see: A "Debugging" subcategory.
What you should see: The subcategory shouldn't be there, because it contains no items.

I checked this issue in Precise with Software Center version 5.1.14.1 and it appear to be resolved. There are now about 8 items in the "Debugging" section. In addition, I checked each of the other subcategories in all of the other categories, and none of them are empty. Closing as fix released.
