Do you still see the problem? Can you attach a newer crash report (with the most recent updates)?

From the various duplilcate bug reports (Bug #99918, Bug#100028, Bug #102628, Bug #102866 and Bug #103143), the problem seems to be still there with exaile 0.2.8+debian-1ubuntu2.

Apparently, exaile always crashes when closing it.

no indication that's a gtk bug, one task is enough, reassign the exaile one if required

I experienced this kind of bug only when i installed the KDE in Ubuntu and logged into it.
Now i have removed it and there are no bugs.

Just installed it a few minutes ago, scanned my music collection of mp3's and ogg's. Was playing a ogg file and about 3/4 the way through it quit playing, I choose another song and it showed it was playing but had no sound.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.0.4 which was upgraded from a clean install of 8.1.0 running on a Dell Latitude D620 with 4 gb ram.

@bigal50: Unless I misunderstand what you write, your problem has nothing to do with exaile crashing. Search for other bugreports or open a new one if that is still an issue for you and you can reproduce it.

Upgrading from an earlier release install has never
worked well, a completely fresh install being better.
More specifically, I am aware of others encountering
problems upgrading from the 'flakey' 8.10 release.

The Exaile 0.3.x series is a complete rewrite. Ubuntu 9.10 released with version 0.3.0.1, and the current development version of Ubuntu Lucid includes Exaile 0.3.1.0. I can not reproduce this issue, and it has most likely been fixed upstream. Has anyone experienced this issue with Exaile > 0.3.0.1?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better!
