I can't seem to run a bash script from a mounted removable device(Feisty).

Bug Description

This problem results when I try to run a simple bash script by clicking on an application link to it in Feisty.
For example: I have a simple backup script stored on an external harddrive with an application link in the root of the file system on the removable drive. Both the script and the link are stored on the removable drive. The script can be run manually by "cd-ing" to the removable drive and running sh plus the script name. I can not however run it by prepending ./

Here is the error I get when trying to run it from the application link:
Konsole is unable to open a PTY (pseudo teletype). It is likely that this is due to an incorrect configuration of the PTY devices. Konsole needs to have read/write access to the PTY devices.

This is an old setup and it worked great in edgy.
Thanks

Good afternoon,

I am working on triaging some older bugs in Launchpad and wondered if you are still having problems with running a bash script from a mounted removable device. Are you still runing Feisty or have you upgraded to a newer release? If so could please update the status of this bug? If you have not upgraded are you still having problesm?

Thansk,

Jonathan
