Bug Description

* test case:
1. install the new version from -proposed
2. logout/login
3. ensure you have no regression on power management (battery on, battery off)

gnome-power-manager (3.2.1-0ubuntu1) UNRELEASED; urgency=low

  * New upstream release:
    - Remove the deprecated g_thread_init
    - Remove the deprecated pango_cairo_font_map_create_context
    - updated translations

Did you mean to drop the apport hook? It's not mentioned in the changelog.

Dropping the apport hook was meant for precise, apparently you uploaded the development packaging branch. But then again it doesn't hurt, as the hook is completely useless. Note that g-p-m does not do power management any more, it's just the statistics these days.

I haven't noticed any regressions in the proposed gnome-power-manager. As pitti said, g-p-m is mostly just gnome-power-statistics now.
