Thank you for your bug. For some reason the crash file is not useful. Could you try to get a new one with libglib2.0-0-dbg epiphany-browser-dbgsym firefox-dbg installed (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash)?

yeah, stupid me. Any chance these can be included in the official repos,
I don't feel like installing from 3rd party repos.

having them to a different place doesn't impact on the mirrors use by example, that's not a 3rd party repos, it's coming from an ubuntu.com machine

I'm now quite convinced that these horrible crashes were the result of the swap partition becoming unstuck.
Computer performance had been slow and error prone, then I noticed my swap partition wasn't being used. Even after using mkswap the correct links weren't made in /dev/disk/by-uuid, after I made my own symlinks and altered fstab my swap partition seems to remain intacked after reboot/hibernate. Since then I haven't experience this same crash, but if I do I'll do my best to get the debugging on here.

Thank you for the work on that. If that works fine now maybe we could close the bug and reopen if that happens again then?

Sure, what ever you feel is best. Think I'll be opening a new bug about
Epiphany anyway because it always starts up in off line mode.

Closing for now then, feel free to reopen if you get the problem again and can get debug backtrace for the crash
