Bug Description

Hi!

I got a conflict with my two soundcards. I have chosen my yamaha soundc. as default-card.
I got no sound. Only be choosing "YMFPCI" in the Gnome Controlpanel, I can enable Sound. (That means autodetection is not possible)
What makes me wonder is: Flash, Amarok, Tremulous -probably other applications- use the VIA soundcard and not Yamaha. I have disabled the internal soundcard in BIOS, but I still have this "feature" ;-)

Here is the oputput of lsmod | grep snd

I'm afraid to say, that this problem persists *somehow*. Sometimes after the boot, the soundc. is ok, but on other boot-ups, the soundc. strikes again and no sound comes out of the boxes. When I reboot my machine again, then everything is ok. How do you suggest me to analyse this Bug. Any ideas would be nice....

(BTW:Sorry for my english, I hope you understood me)

I just read in the status that this bus is fixed....ehm well it isn't.
As a wrote before, the soundc. is set as default-card, but it still doesn't behave like it should.
Any thoughts?

Hi!
I've collected some log-files for you guys (girls?).
I have notized a -in my eyes- very strange behavior of Feisty. As I've written above: sometimes my soundc. is detected as default, so that I can hear sound. On other boot-ups no sound creeps out of my boxes. Here is a serie of files, that I have saved to be analysed.
The "ok_" files are those, when sound was available.
Those marked as "ko_" are those, when no sound was there.
Note, that I have not changed anything in the soundconfiguration, I've just shut down (sound was ok)and then I restarted the computer (sound was gone)
