Bug Description

I am trying to upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 LTS to Ubuntu 12.04. I run the update-manager -d command. The upgrade starts but it fails at the step "Cannot calculate packages".

Thanks for the logs. I'm able to reproduce by installing gcj-4.4-jre on an up to date lucid.

You can workaround this issue by removing the package gcj-4.4-base and the packages that depends on it, be careful though before accepting the removal to not remove any package that you'd rather keep on your system.
