title bar text glitch offset shadow

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Also occurs on the keyboard shortcuts overlay. Unity 5.2.0-0ubuntu3

Confirmed. I see this in precise alpha-2 on the end of the window buttons. Using intel graphics at least.

What graphics drivers are everyone else seeing this bug with?

According to my x log, I'm using the intel driver. I filed a separate bug report (See duplicate bug) with all hardware/software logs attached and available for viewing.

Though, I have not seen this bug on my oneiric machine (also intel gfx), where I build and test the latest compiz 0.9.7 all the time. I only see this bug in a precise installation. So maybe it is to do with the new intel driver, or Unity 5...

I can confirm that the bug did not occur on my oneiric installation either.

I mean the bug does not occur on oneiric, even with the very latest compiz code. So it may not be a compiz bug.

Could it be as simple as someone adding some styling to the text used by the title bar and the other areas where it appears and it doesn't work properly on intel for some reason? (Which clearly seems to be a common denominator now)

It's not just text. I get the problem with the window buttons OR the window title, whichever happens to be visible in the top-left corner of the panel.
