Bug Description

Hay It is Shriganesh from Pune India
Bug:
Installer of Ubuntu 6.06 64 bit Edition was Crashed After 6 setps of installation following are the details
file" /user/bin ubiquity," line 130 in install (sys.argv[1])
file " user/bin /ubiquity" line 55 in install
ret = wizard.run()
file " /user/lib/pyton 2.4/site-package.ubiquity frontend/getkaipy" line 264 in run
self.progress_loop()
file " /user/lib/pyton 2.4/site-package.ubiquity frontend/getkaipy" line 538 in progress_loop raise runtime error ,("install failed with exit code %s ; see")
run time error; installfailed with exit code 1;

Were you able to install any later version of Ubuntu after all? Are the bugs mentioned by Duncan duplicates?

Hi,
I did not installed any later version of ubuntu since i don't have it, but ubuntu 6.06 32 bit installs fine..

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Dapper reached EOL on July 14 2009.

I've tried recreating this bug with jaunty and was unable to given the information you've provided. Please either a) upgrade and test or b) increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again.
