Bug Description

mplayer have an error when try to play for first time a film. This error is: "Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.". The video options is in xmga the it should is in gl or gl2.

Other error appear when the option "Stop XScreenSaver" is Enabled and i can see: "gnome_screensaver_control()". This option is more important in a good player. je

I think, in my opinion, that mplayer should have enable some options by default... as X11 (or gl if you have 3D) in Video; in audio (alsa) the 3 options enabled (normalize, equalizer and software mixer for a good play.
