Bug Description

Running several recent releases under Unity and Gnome Shell, the display duration of Ubuntu Tweak's splash screen is far too short. It is currently so short that its text is not visible. There is often a long period, several seconds, before Ubuntu Tweak's GUI appears. During that time the splash screen should be displayed.

Splash screen?

I wonder there's no splash screen for Ubuntu 12.04, what do you mean of splash screen? Could you give me a screenshot?

How can I give you a screenshot of something that is only displayed for about a quarter of a second?

Now marking this bug as invalid as I have now un-installed Ubuntu-Tweak.

If anyone wants to take up this bug, change the bug status and expand on the bug description then that's fine with me.

But for now, I'm no longer a UT user so I won't be able to add to either this or any other bug report.

I misunderstood your mean. It is Ubuntu Tweak's splash screen, not Ubuntu's.

It is a bug, I will make the splash screen better.
