Bug Description

When you select an instance from the drop-down in the Edit Attachment screen, the default suggested name is "/dev/vdc", even if that device name is already in use on that instance. This field should not suggest a name already in use...

This is a tricky one - you are dependent on the virt backend to provide this for you and that's a lot more complicated than you'd think at first look.

This goes much deeper into Nova/Cinder, and is being worked on there. The real solution is that users won't be "picking" the mount point in most cases. Closing this one out since Horizon can't/won't fix this properly.
