used ubiquity to try install in a virt to a usb disk

using libvirtd-managed qemu-kvm on Fedora 16,
booted to Ubuntu virt,
tried to use ubiquity to install to usb drive partition -- no joy, ubiquity crashes :(

Figured it out -- there is an assertion in the code looking for something called "filesystem.size" (I think, something like that), which I suspect is only available using a CD or other live installation source.
I was using an installed Ubuntu system, and I guess ubiquity didn't like that. Now installing from live cd image, and it seems to be working properly.
