Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

While upgrading a laptop with edubuntu6.10 to 7.04beta, package samba_3.0.24-2ubuntu1.i386.deb failed to install (See screenshot and zipped files from /var/log/dist-upgrade attached)

To save anybody else the work of going through logs in foreign languages (Portuguese?), it seems this is caused by netbase being upgraded before samba and the samba postrm calls update-inetd which is now in its own package.

An alternative would be to work around this in update-manager.
