Bug Description

Using Firefox on Ubuntu 6.06. Choosing Help->Release Notes launches this URL:
http://www.ubuntu.com/support/releasenotes604
which is missing from the web site.

Actually I think the URL is wrong in Firefox, but you could still add a redirect.

I've now created the redirect. I'm opening a bug on firefox too so that when/if this is fixed, we can remove the redirect from the site.

Would we rather it point to ubuntu release notes? The complaint was that it was pointing there but is missing from the website. I will talk to Alexander and see if he wants it to point to ubuntu or mozilla. since its firefox release notes i assumed mozilla site was right.

I thought the original problem was that it was pointing to "604" instead of
http://www.ubuntu.com/support/releasenotes606
(which now is redirected to http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes/606 ,,,)

This because the release "slipped" from 6.04 to 6.06 and many things had to be renamed, and some places like here it was forgotten.

The bug still exists on firefox 3... The Release Notes menu item points to http://www.ubuntu.com/download/releasenotes/804 which does not exist!

bug is still there at 31st may 1.34 release notes didnt work and suggests if that happened to complete a bug note so i did it twice to see if still there and it was its in 606 dapper drake ed. firefox
