Bug Description
the Unity 3d team appear to have thrown in the towel on getting the launcher and dash accessibility working so Unity 2d will be the default desktop for accessible profiles. On the live CD if you have a decent graphics card the try ubuntu button takes you to a Unity 3d desktop which is not fully accessible. Getting to a Unity 2d desktop from this point is quite challenging and requires a logout to a not accessible lightdm which then froze for me.
In summary, pressing the Try Ubuntu button on the ubiquity first page if you have already started Orca should launch a Unity2d session, not Unity3d even if the hardware can handle 3d.

I just booted Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2.
Waited for drums, pressed CTRL+S to start Orca Screen Reader
ALT+Tab to window to choose "Try Ubuntu" or "Install Ubuntu"
Tab to "Try Ubuntu", press Enter.
Presented with Unity 3D, not 2D
