Snowball: Audio recording does not work as expected.

Recorded audio when played back does not have any audio data.
Tried using speech-recorder app
and
Messaging->Attachment->Record Audio option.

Yes, 5/5 time

IMPACT:
========
Audio recording functionality broken.

Steps:
=======
1. Bootup snowball.
2. Open speech-recorder app.
3. Record a clip with default settings.
4. Copy the clip from /data/data/com.android.speechrecorder/app_recordings/ location to sdcard
5. remove sd card from board and connect it to host PC- copy this recorded clip to PC and play it.
Issue: No sound heard on playing the recorded clip.

Or,

1. Open messaging app -> Select New message
2. Select attachment option.
3. Select Record Audio option for attachment.
4. Now record audio -> and playback same audio.
Issue: No sound heard on playing back the recorded clip.
