Bug Description
w3m throws a series of GC/memory leak warnings when opening a badly-formatted HTML file (an "img src=" tag containing a 'sparkline' image that's ~700k in size; I received this as an email attachment.) The file is here:
http://
The warnings look like this:
GC Warning: Repeated allocation of very large block (appr. size 458752):
May lead to memory leak and poor performance.

While doing some bug cleanup work, I found this old bug.
First of all, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric) reached end-of-life on May 9, 2013. I'm afraid this bug can't be fixed. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs promptly; it appears to be no further action possible at this time.
Nevertheless, I tried reproducing the error in the currently supported Ubuntu series, but the file no longer exists.
I will mark this as "Won't fix", but if you could reproduce the error using a more recent version of the package in a supported Ubuntu series, feel free to mark the bug again as "New" for reopening the case. Thanks in advance.
