Bug Description

I have three computers hooked up together to each other and to the internet through a router. my laptop, an IBM 366MHZ 265MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive is always used as my wireless linux machine. I had debian installed on it for years, the past couple of months I installed ubunutu 6.10. It worked like a charm - absolutely smooth sailing. Ever since I upgrade to 7.04 Beta my wireless network doesn't work. It is the exact same settings all around. Now, in 7.04 it says it connects to the network but gives me no access to the other computers, or the internet.I checked the settings many times over. I have worked with installing, and uninstalling windows and linux on my computers countless times, so i think i know a little about the process, but this just leaves me to throw my hands up dismissing the problem as a probable bug.

Chris,

Could you please list what type of laptop, brand, model, etc. and the wireless card that is causing you the issues? Preferably attach the results of running lspci -vv ? Thanks,

Mike,
Just to let you know i solved the problem! I created a new connection, and used EXACTLY the same settings as the old, and it worked!
But obviously there is a bug here that would cause many people to pull their hair out... somehow when i upgraded to 7.04 something got corrupted "under the surface" somewhere that didn't show up in the network settings window.
Do you still want me to post the specifics? and the results of lspci -vv?
