Need a command to break a stale lock

Bug #5988 reported by Brad Bollenbach on 2005-12-20
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone

Bug Description

bzr left around a lock file for me, so that when I go to push, I'm locked out:

bradb@oxygen:~/canonical/malone-initial-bug-contacts $ bzr push s
bzr: WARNING: Unable to update the working tree of: s
bzr: ERROR: bzrlib.errors.LockError: File '.bzr/branch-lock' already locked
  at /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/bzrlib/transport/ line 196
  in __init__

There appears to be no documented way out of this predicament either.

bradb@oxygen:~/canonical/malone-initial-bug-contacts $ bzr help commands | grep lock
bradb@oxygen:~/canonical/malone-initial-bug-contacts $

The bug still remains that there are no commands to fix it.
