Carve Beryllium (0.04) Released

A cross-platform, open-source SVG editor built upon Qt 4.5 Beta. This is the fourth functional release. New features include:

- Export SVG as PNG
- Design Mode now supports:
   * linear and radial gradients
   * <solidColor> elements
   * Basic <text> element support
   * Basic <image> element support
   * preserveAspectRatio
   * fill-rule, stroke-linecap, stroke-linejoin

Carve Lithium (0.03) Released

A cross-platform, open-source SVG editor built upon Qt 4.5 Beta. This is the third functional release. New features include:

- A dockable Properties pane allowing editing of the selected node's attributes
- Beginnings of a "Design" mode allowing the viewing and selection of the document elements graphically
- Find/Replace functionality in the Text edtior
- Undo/Redo

Carve Helium (0.02) Released

- syntax highlighting for SVG elements and attributes
- ability to set your font family and size in the text editor
- a dockable DOM browser panel to view the DOM tree
- remembers recently opened files

Carve 0.01 (Hydrogen) Released

A cross-platform, open-source SVG editor built upon Qt 4.5 Beta. This is the first functional release. At this point, Carve is a crude text editor with the ability to launch a preview window of the SVG document being edited.
