CASA-based tools for advanced simulation and calibration of interferometric polarimetry data. Support for extended polarized calibrators, non-linear leakage corrections, and different antenna mounts. The two tasks currently added to the toolbox are:

-PolSimulate: Simulator of ALMA/J-VLA/VLBI full-polarization observations. Support for extended sources and spectro-polarimetry. Support for linear and circular antenna feeds as well as different (EQ, AZ, XY, NASMYTH-R/L) mounts. The output can be (un)corrected for parallactic angle, if desired, and should be imaged with CLEAN (with stokes=IQUV) and the polarization vectors should be computed with immath (with options poli and pola).

-PolSolve: Leakage solver for circular polarizers and extended polarization calibrators. Different antenna mounts (the same as in PolSimulate) are supported, as well as extended polarization calibrators. Second-order leakage corrections are applied in the solving process.
