Release notes:

Catfish has been rewritten from the ground-up. With the replacement of 'find', the application becomes more responsive and reliable. The interface has been further refined since the 0.4 series, including the addition of a styled sidebar with symbolic icons. Thumbnail loading has been improved. Drag-n-Drop of filenames from the application window to other applications has been introduced, as well as the ability to manipulate multiple files at once. Finally, Python versions 2 or 3 are both fully supported by Catfish.
