NB! The solvers in CBC.RANS have been moved under the CBC.PDESys/CBC.CFD (https://launchpad.net/cbcpdesys) umbrella!!!!!!

CBC.RANS is a FEniCS-based programming framework for modeling turbulent flows by the
Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes Equations. CBC.RANS is primarily being developed as a joint effort between the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI), Kjeller, Norway and Simula Research Laboratory in Oslo, Norway. The solvers are developed in Python and provide a simple interface, where new turbulence models can easily be added. The Navier-Stokes solvers can be used for both laminar and turbulent flows, steady state or transient, utilizing either Newton or Picard iteration techniques. Currently we have implemented both fully coupled and segregated NS solvers that can be linked with the standard k-epsilon, Spalart Allmaras, V2F or elliptic relaxation models. CBC.RANS is distributed freely in the hope that it will be useful, but without any warranty.
