Delights is a software suite for Linux providing fast, simple and graphically rich desktop applications.

It provides applications written using features of the modern Linux graphics stack. The work on DRI2 which recently landed in distributions allows graphically accelerated applications to run correctly in a composited environment. Delight, the Delights' rendering framework, takes advantage of that to render user interfaces with the OpenGL API, using client-side window decorations and ARGB visuals for translucency effects. GTK+ is used to render off-screen widget trees, to display menus and tooltips and to adapt graphics and colors to the desktop environment.
