Demand Response Application for Power Event Scheduling (DRAPES) is a system for managing power usage for multiple computers. Though the system works on small groups of computers, DRAPES is ideal for large groups of networked computers (i.e., at least 100 computers). DRAPES allows an organization to reduce its energy usage when the price of energy is high, by shutting off low-priority devices and processes.
