Bug Description
I encountered this bug:

Before commiting the fix posted there, I had the PCM channel visible in KMix and in ALSAMIXER, and it worked too, but after the fix (echo "options snd-via82xx dxs_support=2" |sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.

One more thing, can't get 5.1 to work either...
Tried setting it in Amarok, in Kaffeine... but nothing. It's set to 6 channels in alsamixer though... but as I said they have no effect over volume or things like these...
