Bug Description

Since the upgrade to nvidia-glx 1.0.8756+2.6.15.8-1, Enemy Territory is not playable anymore on my GeForce 4 MX

0000:02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV18 [GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x] (rev a2

For each movement in the game, you have a big trail (I mean really big) that makes the game very unpleasant and, in fact, not really playable.

There's no error anywhere. Switching back to nvidia-glx-legacy solves this particular problem (altough it brings some others).

Following the changelog, it seems that 1.0-8762 correct this bug.

If someone makes an experimental deb package, I will test it to see if the problem is solved.

As I doubt that this driver will be included in Dapper, it's maybe a good idea to put this package somewhere on the wiki so Dapper GeForce 4 MX users can easily upgrade and solve the bug.

Without upgrading your drivers, use the "Sync every frames" option in Options => System.
