Bug Description
If I install the package "mondo" in the universe repository of Ubuntu 5.10 and then run the tool "mondoarchive" as root (using "sudo"), I get a message saying "Could not ascertain mindi's version number. You have not installed Mondo and/or Mindi properly. Please uninstall and reinstall them both."
Uninstalling and reinstalling them both gives the same error.
If I check the log it outputs, it indicates that it runs mindi and the output it got from running mindi was:
/usr/sbin/mindi: line 2345: syntax error near unexpected token `|'
/usr/sbin/mindi: line 2345: ` while [ "`echo "$newo" | grep "\.\."`" ] ; do'
