No spell-checking by default for NZ users

Bug Description

On a fresh install of Dapper, OOo does not check the spelling of words. We use UK English here and that should be the fallback language for NZers if no nz is available. This is a fairly big deal, especially given how difficult it is to change the language the spellchecker uses. I have to keep highlighting the text and setting the language in the character style to "English (UK)"

This is related to Bug #33294, Bug #44100, Bug #35936 and Bug #44954. The whole language thing causes trouble for derivative languages. Will this be addressed when the "One Dictionary" spec is implemented?

To a degree, this also relates to Bug #3127 and will definitely do so when they integrate a spellchecker into Firefox for 2.0.

I'd suggest that en_NZ should be accompanied by mi_NZ where possible.

Is this still an issue after the latest updates or with any of the latest stable releases?

I'm sorry, I am away for 7 months (until late June) without a
computer. Hopefully somebody else in New Zealand can check it for you.
