Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-psycopg2
This dependency was fixed in the debian version, but not yet in edgy. You can't use psycopg2 without the package, and on a clean install (rc version, all updates) it is not installed by default.
Found the debian reference by using google on the following mailinglist message:

Edgy has python-psycopg2 (2.0.5.1-1) which doesn't depend upon python- egenix- mxdatetime
Edgy does have python- egenix- mxdatetime (2.0.6ubuntu1- 1ubuntu5) but as it's not a dependency python-psycopg2 won't install this by default.
This is a debian bug http:// bugs.debian. org/cgi- bin/bugreport. cgi?bug= 389636 which was fixed in release 2.0.5.1-2 which is dated 3 October 2006.
