Gnusto is a Firefox extension which allows the user to play Z-code text adventure ("interactive fiction") games, either the originals by Infocom, or the later fan-produced games. It is not an interpreter: rather, it is a Z-code to JavaScript compiler.
Gnusto does not run with recent editions of Firefox because of changes in the API and because of the developers' work commitments, but plans remain to resurrect it. We welcome help.
