H-box is a software to interconnect home networks together to share uPnP-based resources (e.g. media servers, cameras) with your friends. The implementation requires little manual configuration and it is based on standardized networking protocols (XMPP, uPnP, HIP).

XMPP is used to publish and subscribe to friend's networks and uPnP is used for locating and sharing of resources. HIP is used for NAT traversal and access control.
