New Listaller website finished

The new Listaller website is now online. The design is fresher now, I think and lots of bugs are fixed, e.g. the "Opera-Bug": You weren't able to download files from the download area with the right extension if you used Opera Browser.
The download area is completely new, it works now properly with the Listaller catalogue. I also fixed many security bugs by myself and updated the CMS system. Just vsit the website and make your own impression! A lot of fun on the website. When Listaller 0.1.18a is released you will be able to use the whole power of the website... You'll see!
No unified RPM/DEB building in Listaller 0.1.18a

Sorry, but because of big problems in building DEB packages on RPM platforms it is not possible to create an unified RPM/DEB- build service for all distributions. It would be necessary to implement all functions needed to build e.g. a DEB package in one unibuild tool and this is too much work for the next version. I think it's better to improve the other functions of Listaller. The unibuild-feature may be implemented in version 0.4.5 or never if it's not necessary.

Development of 0.1.18a started

The development of Listaller 0.1.18a has started. This will be the first alpha release and will contain the following new features:
- Create DEB and RPM files from one IPS-File (experimental)
- Start new "Listaller compact"-Tool, that helps users managing their applications without using the IPK-System
- Better syncronisation with APT and RPM
- Some changes on the user-interface
- A qt4-version for KDE users
- Translation import from Launchpad
- Possibility to build RPMs and DEBs from one IPS file
- IPK-Repositories
A release date is not set, but this version could be finished in two months.

Listaller 0.1.16p-alpha released!

Today I released the pre-alpha 0.1.16 of Listaller. This release contains the new "Listaller Creator" application that makes the creation of IPK-packages very easy. The IPK-format is now XML-based and the "listallgo"
This release is being made available for testing purposes only. It should show how Listaller works and what it is/could be.
Alpha at work

Currently I am working on the first alpha release of Listaller. If it is finished, I will re-create the tools that are needed to build Listaller packages. Later they will be released with a small tutorial and reference.
The development of Listaller 0.1.16a will take 2-4 weeks.
