Stopmotion is a Free Software application for creating stop-motion animated movies. It lets you create an animation from pictures captured from a webcam, a videocamera or from pictures imported from the harddrive, add sound effects and export the animation to different video formats such as mpeg or avi.
Linux Stopmotion is the project for maintaining and improving Stopmotion with the contribution of the community. Most exciting goal is to add support capture from DSLR. A basic grubber is being tested.
