MAD Client is a Direct Connect client compatible with the (EXTENDED)NMDC protocol.
It's GUI design is centered around searching. As a result the search area is central to the users view of the interface.
MADclient is written in C and uses the GTK+ GUI toolkit.
MAD Client is intended to be cross-platform.
Your help is very much appreciated! You don't even need to be a programmer in order to help. You can send bug (problem) reports, write documentation, translate, propose features, help other users, promote MAD Client and Free (see www.fsf.org) Software in general.
If you are a programmer or are interested in programming you are encouraged to write python plugins, fix bugs and work on new features.
