Based around what used to be the free Celltrack software (http://celltrack.spv-developers.com/) we are putting together an application that runs on various smartphones and pocketpcs and uses cell tower information to give the world a general indication of your location.

The software that we are developing allows users to explore new areas with a GPS enabled device and map out the locations of various cell towers, which can then be saved on the site and referenced by any member.

The software is released under a BSD license, and the service is provided on a community basis, free of charge for non-commercial use.
