MySQL HA Initial Release

The MySQL HA project just released its first version.

Make your MySQL installation highly-available just by installing a Debian package and answering the questions at the prompt.

By leveraging MySQL, DRBD and Heartbeat, MySQL HA attempts to make the deployment of your redundant database as simple as possible.

You will need two servers to run as Primary and Secondary nodes. Each server should have a spare disk volume with enough space to host your entire database data. Both servers should be connected to the same LAN. Install mysqlha_0.1_all.deb on both servers and your MySQL setup will be made fully redundant with automatic failover!
