US Check Writing now Available for v6

Check Writing and Other US Related Modules are Coming on v6

Check Writing is currently being worked on for OpenERP for v6. This should be available very shortly.

NovaPoint Group has made modifications and will be releasing very shortly the ability to handle cash_discounts, an improved method of handling credits a customer has when applying them against payments, and writeoffs associated with the account_voucher method of handling payments in v6. All this code is new due to the redesign of some of the Payment areas in v6 to use account_voucher.

In addition, NovaPoint Group (www.novapointgroup.com) are also adding the following: US Address Validation using UPS, Quick City State Country Longitude and Latitude entry (86000 zip codes) based on entering a Zip Code, Credit Card Payment Processing using Authorize.net, Negotiated Shipping Rate Management on Sales Orders (this allows retailers and companies to markup and charge a profit on shipping and also manage multiple shipping methods at time of sale), and UPS integration (that will be a free module) for delivery/warehouse - which includes "Tracking number" reference capability.

The overall design of this code will enable OpenERP to function well in an inside sales and call center environment.
